Young adults 16-20 years old

We Lead Volleyball Together

We Lead Volleyball Together (WLVT) is a collaboration between the Volleyball Federations of the Netherlands, Denmark, Norway, Iceland and The Hague University of Applied Sciences. The project is supported by the European Union's Erasmus+ program and aims to improve the representation of women in decision-making position.

About WLVT

In Europe, volleybal is a popular sport among (young) women, but this target group is underrepresented in leadership roles, such as trainers, coaches, board members and referees. In Denmark, Norway, Iceland and the Netherlands you see many more women on the field than in these leadership roles.

The WLVT project aims to help more young women aged 16 to 20 find their place in leadership roles. In this way, we want to create a more inclusive leadership culture where women are better represented. To ensure a good balance, both young women and men participate in the program. Young adults will receive guidance through training, mentoring programs, international networking and by organizing an event for learn the skills needed for such an important role.

For this project we are looking for clubs, club mentors & young adults, 'Young Leaders', to participate! Check out all the information about the project below.
